Deendayal Port Authority Apprentice Educational Qualifications:
- Trade Apprenticeship: ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in relevant trade.
- Secretarial Assistant: Graduate Degree (B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com).
- Technical Apprentice: Regular Diploma Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronics / CS / IT.
- Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Regular Degree Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronics / CS / IT.
- Non Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Graduate Degree (B.Com, BCA, BBA, BA & B.Sc.)
Deendayal Port Authority Apprentice Age Limit:
- Upper age limit 28 years (as on 31-01-2023) in respect of any of the trades / disciplines mentioned above. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD and 3 years of OBC candidates is as per the government provisions/rule.
Deendayal Port Authority Apprentice Selection Process:
⟹ Selection on the basis of Merit list.
⟹ The merit will be prepared on the basis of ‘Sum of marks obtained in all semesters / years’ and ‘Sum of total (maximum) marks in all semesters / years’.
⟹ If CGPA / C.P. / Grade / Scale / Point or other nomenclature is mentioned in the curriculum, then the same is to be converted into the Percentage Score as per the rules and shall be inserted (out of Maximum Marks i.e. 100).

- Interested & eligible candidates are first required to register through https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in > ‘Register’ > ‘Candidate’ and get ‘Apprenticeship Registration no.’ (of 10 digits, starting with ‘A’) and ‘Activate’ their Login account.
- The candidates should enter Contact details, Educational details, Trade preference, Aadhaar Verification and upload required documents.
- After, the candidates are required to apply online through DPT online application portal (gad.deendayalport.gov.in/app).
